What’s the difference between infrared saunas and traditional Saunas?

What should I wear in the infrared sauna?

Being nude in the sauna is the best way to receive the full benefits from the experience. If you prefer to have something on, we recommend clothes that are not restricting and are breathable such as cotton or bamboo.

What do I need to do to prepare for my session?

Hydrate, hydrate, hydrate! Drink plenty of water before, during and after your session.

Most people do not drink enough water to begin with and now that you are using an infrared sauna and sweating, it is even more important to stay properly hydrated.

Can I use an infrared sauna when pregnant?

It is not recommended and we would recommend that you consult your medical practitioner before using an infrared sauna whilst pregnant.

Are you COVID compliant?

Yes, we have conducted complete COVID risk assessments, follow all the government guidelines, use the appropriate PPE and sanitize after each session.

How long is an infrared sauna session?

Infrared sauna sessions are typically between 30- and 60-minute sessions depending on the program.

Can I bring A friend with me to my session?

Absolutely you can! Bring three friends if you’d like! Our Yoga Sauna is made for up to four people.

$30 per session for each additional person.

Do I need to bring anything with me for my session?

You do not need to bring anything specific with you for your session.

Do you have a shower?

We do not provide showers as most of our clients prefer to go home for this. We do provide freshers in the sauna room including wipes, deodorant, cue tips and body mist.

How many sessions should I have per week?

There is no one answer for the amount of sessions per week, but infrared saunas are safe to use every day.

In fact, you will see wellness improvements sooner if you use it daily.

On average, most people have 30-60-minute sessions, 3-4 times a week.
